Sibiri et son neveu Sogon (noms d’emprunt) ont comparu le lundi 28 f\u00e9vrier 2025 devant le tribunal de grande instance de Bobo-Dioulasso pour r\u00e9pondre de faits de d\u00e9vastation de plants et de complicit\u00e9. Le parquet leur reprochait d’avoir d\u00e9truit des eucalyptus et des anacardiers dans un champ familial situ\u00e9 \u00e0 Kiri, un village relevant de l\u2019arrondissement 2 de Bobo-Dioulasso.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Ce proc\u00e8s trouve son origine dans un vieux conflit foncier opposant Sibiri et deux de ses fr\u00e8res autour d’un domaine de plus de 20 hectares. Selon les plaignants, les arbres plant\u00e9s dans ce champ appartiendraient \u00e0 toute la famille. Sibiri, principal pr\u00e9venu, a contest\u00e9 cette version \u00e0 la barre : \u00ab Ce sont mes propres arbres, plant\u00e9s par moi-m\u00eame, et non par notre d\u00e9funt p\u00e8re \u00bb, a-t-il affirm\u00e9.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Les d\u00e9bats ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que Sibiri avait effectivement plant\u00e9 des eucalyptus et des anacardiers depuis 2007, soit avant le d\u00e9c\u00e8s du p\u00e8re de famille. Plusieurs t\u00e9moignages sont venus confirmer ses propos. Un vieil homme de la famille a racont\u00e9 : \u00ab J’\u00e9tais en C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire et je suis revenu au village en 2013. Depuis mon retour, c’est Sibiri que je voyais r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement dans le champ. \u00c0 mon avis, ce sont ses plants. \u00bb Un autre t\u00e9moin, un notable du village, a \u00e9galement soutenu que Sibiri \u00e9tait \u00e0 l\u2019origine des plantations.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00c0 la barre, Sibiri et Sogon ont ni\u00e9 toute responsabilit\u00e9 dans la d\u00e9vastation des plants. \u00ab J’ai plant\u00e9 ces eucalyptus en 2007, bien avant le d\u00e9c\u00e8s de notre p\u00e8re \u00bb, a soutenu Sibiri. Quant \u00e0 Sogon, il a confirm\u00e9 : \u00ab C’est Sibiri qui a plant\u00e9 les arbres. \u00bb<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Les deux plaignants, estimant avoir perdu 15 pieds d\u2019arbres, ont r\u00e9clam\u00e9 15 000 F CFA par arbre, soit un total de 225 000 F CFA, ainsi que 64 000 F CFA au titre des frais de justice et des dommages et int\u00e9r\u00eats.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Dans ses r\u00e9quisitions, le procureur a estim\u00e9 que les faits n\u2019\u00e9taient pas suffisamment \u00e9tablis contre les pr\u00e9venus. Il a donc requis leur relaxe au b\u00e9n\u00e9fice du doute, conform\u00e9ment au principe selon lequel le doute profite \u00e0 l’accus\u00e9.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Le tribunal a annonc\u00e9 que le verdict sera rendu le lundi 12 mai 2025 dans la salle d’audience du TGI de Bobo-Dioulasso.<\/div>\n
